Sara Brandal, FNP-c

Sara Brandal is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years clinical experience.

She began her career in 2005 as a Registered Nurse and has enjoyed a diverse career working in multiple challenging fields, including inpatient Cardiac Care/Step-down Intensive Care, outpatient Cardiology and Cardiovascular Diagnostics, outpatient Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, and Elementary School Nursing for children with special needs.

While continuing to work full time as a Nurse, Sara pursued a postgraduate degree at Northern Illinois University. In 2014, Sara was awarded her Master of Science in Nursing degree and became a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner recognized by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Sara is a seasoned clinician who loves the variety of cases encountered in Primary Care. She is passionate about preventing disease/promoting wellness and delivering holistic, patient centered care for both children and adults. Her professional interests include the treatment of metabolic dysfunction, insulin resistance, diabetes, obesity/weight loss, Cardiovascular Disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, Mental Health issues, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and issues related to aging for both women and men.

Sara’s most treasured values are honesty, integrity, respect for one’s self and others, and the “golden rule”. She feels it is important that clinicians take time with patients and discuss the disease processes as well as available treatment options. Sara believes educating and empowering patients leads to better long term outcomes. “I love to invest in patients and teach them about their chronic conditions and how to manage them for long term success. I want people to leave their appointment feeling confident in their treatment plan.”

Sara is a Midwest Native, born and raised about 30 minutes outside of Chicago. She relocated to Arizona in July of 2019 with her husband, two young boys, and family dog and cat. When she’s not at work, Sara spends most of her time chasing her kids, playing superheroes, reading children’s books in funny voices, and trying to keep her sons out of the pantry and away from the hidden snacks. Her favorite food is coffee and her favorite season is baseball. GO CUBS!!


Shannon miles, fnp-c

Meet, Shannon Miles, a certified nurse practitioner for both family and psychiatric care. Shannon joined our team in 2023. She has been practicing family medicine since 2019.  Shannon began her medical care in Oklahoma about 20 yrs ago. She has climbed the ladder from becoming a CNA to LPN, an RN and, after working in a number of settings, Shannon pursued her goal of becoming a certified nurse practitioner.

Shannon moved to Arizona in 2010, where she continued her studies and has been living in the Phoenix area for the last several years. She has a variety of work experience ranging from hospitals to long-term care facilities. She has worked with children and adults alike.

Some of the things Shannon likes to do is spend time with her children. She has five adult children and recently adopted a baby boy. Most times you can find Shannon around the community enjoying the weather and activities around town. 

Shannon has never met a patient that has not become a friend. She would love to meet you and provide you and your family with care here at Main Street Medical.


Joceline Ruiz

Joceline Ruiz is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. She has experience in the fields of Pediatrics, Family Medicine and Neurology.

She is currently attending school to finish her bachelors degree in Biology, hopefully to soon become a provider.

"I am an Arizona Native. Born in Phoenix, raised in Tonopah now a current resident here at Verrado. I live with my two boys Enzo and Zona who are both weiner dogs, they are my pride and joy.
